Can Any One Help Me Figure Out Witch Brand And Type Of Chip I Would Need For My 99 XLT 4x4. My Wife Drives It On The Streets But I Like To Rock Climb. And If You Know Where It Goes. Is In A Chevy It Is Behind The Glove Box. Thanks

Spiritwolf, welcome to the site. IMHO, the Superchip seems to be the way to go, and seems to be the most reliable one (Don't get me wrong, others have tried other brands, and gotten good results). If you do a search on this site for "performance chips" you will find tons of info, and feedback from previous discussions. As far as your computer goes, it is located in the engine compartment, in the firewall, on the passenger side. Check out www.smartyparts.com , they have a pic of what you should be looking for, and give site members a decent price on the chip.
