OK i am still new at all of this and i just want to know what will work? i have a 93 explorer and i am looking to get some American Racing AR -767 15X8's and just what will work with the Thornbirds i have hear that their might be some rubbing and how big do you think i could go with out major work to be don't at once? thanks for the help

30.5x9.5 is as big as you can go without a lift. Thornbirds are not a pavement friendly tire (fast wearing).

you will rub with the smallest thornbird made with no lift. you need to research lift sizes and pics to see where you want yours to be if you plan on going bigger than 30x9.50

and IMO thornbirds are not a good choice because they do not perform nearly as well as the other tires from the TSL line and wear just as fast/don't look as cool. Check out the TSL radial, SSR's, or Trxus MT. (if you want a radial)

I had Thornbirds on my '94 Yota, and plan on getting a set for my Ex.

They sound horrible on the highway, wear like crap and perform so-so..

But imho they're the meanest looking mudder out there. :D
