superchip... help

WANTED CHIP!

I want to buy a chip for my 92 4x4 automatic... anyone have one for sale?!?

Also

Will a superchip from a 94 4x4 fit a 92 4x4?

i dont think the chip will work.... the computers were probably differently setup as 94 systems for the egr was introduced.....

Thanks james.... which chip do you recomend for my truck? i dont want to have to do a bunch of other **** too... just plug in power,,,, i have a 190 degree t stat

Contact Superchips, they may be able to reconfigure the chip to work for you.

Also, take a look at the Apton chip ( http://www.apten-us.com/ ). Brian is a good guy and will help you a lot.

I would stick with looking for a Superchip. IMO, the Apten chips haven't proven very reliable right out of the box, much less stand the test of time. Superchips have been proven reliable for long amounts of time. Not to say that the Aptens won't last and that Brian isn't a great guy, they just haven't proven to be.

The difficulties with the Apten chip would also present themselves with any other chip ( including Superchip ); they were not chip related but were related to the trucks computer port not being activated by FORD.

Brian has gone above any beyond any auto related customer service that I have ever seen.

Further, my Apten chip is not even here YET.....
