Superlift 5.5" new driveline needed..?

I know I have asked this before, but is a new driveline needed with the superlift 5.5" If you don't is there a vibration problem? Where would you go to get a longer driveline anyway..? How many of you do have longer drivelines..?

No you don't need a longer driveline, the one you hav will work just fine. When you weld your pads for the spring over conversion just remember to twist your axel to where the drive line is straight.

I have the 5.5" and I had to go with a new, longer rear driveshaft. The stock one was too short, about 1.5" of contact length on the splines, and this caused vibration. Plus it had 200K miles on it. Had a new one made, with about 4" of contact area, and everything is fine.

I would have to disagree with setting the pinion to be straight to the driveshaft, if that's what you meant. It is important to match the pinion angle to the transfer case angle, so vibration will be canceled. If you set the pinion angle straight to the driveshaft, you will have quite a bit of vibration. The only time you would set the pinion straight to the driveshaft would be if you were using an double cardan on the transfer case end.
