hey Swee294349
They have opened Moab2001 up to more people, so you should plan on going. I know the CCR2000 was a blast.
Good chance to try out your truck.....

tdavis,

I just installed the drop pitman and steering stabilizer( works great), but the one I got bolted to the frame and not the tie rod. Does it make a difference?

Goober; I'm not sure what you mean.

Does it look like the second picture I posted (that's BlueDogBandit's truck at TruckHaven, btw)?

I don't have a steering stabilizer on my truck, so I don't have any idea..

My bad, the truck with the 'Watts BJ' tag on the front. Mine is mounted where thew red arrows point, just wondering if it made a difference(I'd just guess it wouldn't except for getting it higher up and out of the way). To the far right, you'll see the new and beefier dropped pitman arm.

Goober,

How did you mount it to the frame? Is that a leaf spring shackle?

It isn't a shackle bracket, but it looks similiar. The bracket came witht the Superlift steering stabilizer kit. I didn't need to do any measuring or anything but put the brackets on and tighten them down. After it was all snug, I took it out for a test, lock-to-lock and no problems. It works great at reducing loose steering. I got the stuff from http://www.rockymountainsusp.com They are very nice and shipped the products out that day. I got them 2 days after ordering them. I'll be ordering from them again soon( I need some longer brake lines).

Hey! One question

I have the SRS and with my SupperLift 5.5" lift the drivers side tie rod was too short. Did anyone else have this problem? I called SprLft and they didn't have an answer, so I had it lengthened 1" inorder to use it. Yes, the system removed the Bumpsteer after the lift.

I tried putting my new one on today, but found out the drivers side link is too long so I'll have to call Superlift tomorrow and see what's up with that????
Must be the wrong one in the kit since it didn't measure what they said it should be.

Perry - they shipped me the wrong parts originally also.

both rods where way too long - they appeared to be F150 rods.

Call them I say!

Check the Box

Did u guys happen to check the box to see if there was a little tag on what the item was for? i was lookin on the side of my box and it said for an 89-93 Ranger. I'd check the box out and see what the tag says on it if u have one

just a thought

Yes I checked the box and it said the right year. Everything else fits but that one side. Drivers side was to long. I'll call them tomorrow morning.

Hmmm.. now ain't that a mystery

Now that you say something, maybe it said up to 93 Ranger on it, but I'll look again before I call.
I know everything fit but that one side. I had that happen on the radius arms also. Sent the wrong one, then sent the wrong side, then finally the right one.

i hate it when stuff like that happens. seems like u wait and wait forever but u get the wrong stuff when u get it. it's kind of irritating. Plus i have heard superlift likes to screw up with their kits a lot.

My box was correctly marked too - it just contained the wrong parts.

Superlift was quick to replace them - including my keeping the wrong parts!
