Does anyone know where I can get a set of superwhite liscense plate bulbs for my 93 Sport? I have blue now and its really faded and illegal so I figured I would make them more legal. Thanks in advance.

uuh? well thats interesting... I can't say I've ever heard of that idea.. um.. aren't they like 194s or something?

Autosyndicate has 194's but I am not sure what exact bulb size they are.

I have them on mine, the license plate bulbs are 194's, I think 194 is the standard for license plate bulbs on any vehicle because everyone I've come across (Outback, Solara, etc.) has the same size.

Hmmmmm, my 98 has 168's for the plate.

i replaced the housings after cleaning and i am sure that mine are 194s on a 1994 so are the door lite, front marker lights, and the individual map lights but not the large dome light, although it will fit as i have blues in the doors and a blue in the dome with standard color for the maps(i cant really see much with the blues)also your brake lights and center dome are larger 912s. but can be replaced with the 194 without modification(they will just not glow as brite)

I think 194's and 168's are the same, at least I've never been able to really tell the difference between the two, both are tiny wedge bulbs

woa, check out the new look of the forum.. sweet work guys..

I imagine you're right 00xlt.. if thats the case.. piaa actually makes superwhite 168s, I was wondering why they made what I thought was such an uncommon size.

I've had good luck with Polarg Bulbs...i have yet to take a pic...very white bulb, 168's are the ones i used in my Side Markers, and liscense plate lamps. Polarg unfortunately doesnt sell the 3157's for the turn signals. Ended getting them from Optiblue they make superwhites for 3157. I got them from

direct link to polarg bulbs
