Hi All
I took my EX for a run today up to Scarborough, the round trip was 240 miles from Lincolnshire, it's the first time we have been on a decent run so we were wondering what the fuel consumption would be.I was quite pleased after we got home and did the maths. On average we were getting 25 miles to the gallon and that wasn't motorway miles, the usual stop start roundabouts type of thing.Average speed was 55-60 mph so ye well pleased.
PS Saw 2 more Ex's, one near Beverly and the other Scarborough.

Hi! Ferret!

We missed you by a day or so. we stayed overnight in Scarborough on the 27th and then spent some time in Bridlington on the 28th before driving back to Bradford. Dunno about fuel comsumption - stopped worrying about it long ago...

Cheers Fellas,
I know it's a bit sad driving like miss daisy, but i just wanted to see what i could squeeze out of her,it makes a difference when it runs up to proper driving temperature, quicker gear change and if you can keep it under 2.500 rpm it does make a difference,i usualy only do short journeys.
