Well after the HUGE success of Ford fair its only right we should have another meet up
I thought it be good to camp out somewhere (found a pub where we can camp booking aside be perfect) and do Sat + Sun for those who have a bit of a drive down or want a drink+BBQ : after the driving :
If I said bank holiday weekend sat / sun 23,24 august - whats every one doing
if you want to do an alternative date let every one know so we can decide ...
be nice to see the members who couldn't make it last time ,and the newer members..
after last time we can be sure of a great, friendly atmosphere ...
I have 3 cars already up for this including me.... an Isuzu trooper and an animal ...
please remember your car WILL get scratched by all the bushes ....

Am gonna miss this meet up too. I am once again back in India this time until 9th Sept. There is just something so right about having curry and beer for breakfast :

When I get back I have one ill explorer to look at. I've got a short somewhere in the electrics thats audible whenever I indicate to turn left. This has resulted in a flat battery. The remote wont unlock the doors and opening them with the key just sets off the cobra alarm, which my neighbors can attest to the fact is very loud; especially as I've misplaced the manual disarm code for it. Disconnecting the battery and giving it a quick charge before i came away just resulted in triggering the alarm again as soon as i reconnected the battery. will have to look at this when all the neighbors are out!

Um.... Not sure on this one. The idea of getting my daily driver scratched to bugger is a bit of a put off. Some hard thinking required.

Most likely it will be just the lacquer that gets marked ,but I had to put that in ,
did anyone notice the scratches on mine at the fair ?...I go out a couple times a month..
and probably you didn't but it is scratched
some guys put tape over the front wings to stop it marking ...going slow past the tight bushy bits helps too
worst stuff is blooming holly makes you cringe when you squeeze through

im sure with a bit of thought we could mask up the side paint with some tape or something for the day

really its a lot of fun going out and exploring and the tight bits are few and far bewteen .

have you got a post code thats near to it so i can check on the satnav were it is or if not the name off the road and town might be up for a bit of paint scratching ......ill do anything for beer and bbq lol

its early i know but I'm guessing no ones coming + its better when theres less walkers/mountain bikers etc out on the lanes
