Can you use 5.5 coils with the 4 inch kit or are the brackets totally different?

Thanks!

yes you can. At least with superlift brackets you can. Not sure about the radius arms however, maybe ill get around to lookingat mine sometime. however, th beam drops do have holes for each type of lift.

I have the Trailmaster kit with the Superlift rear IFS bracket. I didnt like the design of the weaker Trailmaster bracket. It was a kit for Ranger/BroncoII and I used it on my Explorer. I did the spring over on the rear. The kits been on there for about 14 months. The rear is about 1 inch or 1.5 inches higher than the rear. I would like to add the 5.5 coils in the front and a 3 inch body lift to fit 35s.

uhhhmmm... what?

Superlift rear IFS bracket.?????

You mean the passngerside beam drop bracket? Rad arm drop bracket?

The rear is about 1 inch or 1.5 inches higher than the rear. or higher than the front with the 4" lift, caus that would make sense.????

Is this comparing stock SUA to the new SOA??? And how did you do the spring over, did you weld on new mounts or use the stupidlift kit?

But apart from that, you can simply swap in the 5.5" coils, but I would stay away from superlift coils, look for skyjackers or wildhorses Eb springs. You would need to modify the buckets for the EB coils but definatly better ride. I hate my superlift springs. Also, I would reccommend away from the 3" bl, I also dont like mine after the 6" lift, it handles like **** and the body roll/death wobble is terible.

It is the passenger side beam drop bracket. I did the SOA by putting the spring on top of the axle and welding new spring perches ontop of the axle housing. Without blocks it gave quite a bit more than the front. I thought of putting the leveling spacers under the front springs, but it seems to be a band-aid, instead of a solution.

Right now the truck is on 32x11.5 TSL/SX with stock rims. It has TONS of fender clearance, front and rear. Do you suspect 35s would fit with the 5.5 coils or no?

Thanks!!

Yes, with minor trimming. But to be able to do it 3ithout the BL its worth it.
