Hi- I searched for this but didn't find anything, so I apologize if it's an old topic. My x sits lower in the back than in the front... I dont think the front has been modified, because the previous owners were well over 70 years old. Somehow I dont think they'd mess with it. In any case, I'm wondering if this is a common problem, and if there is a quick solution. thanks-

Your leaf springs are sagging. For about 100 bucks you can get some newer, replacement leaf springs from the junkyard.

sounds like spring sag. you can put n add a leaf in it.... or shackles..... or just live with the sag, it isnt hurting anything

There is a quick and free solution. It involves lowering the front to match. You loosen the torsion bar adjusting bolts to lower the front of the truck. If you search for torsion bar you'll get lots of hits.

If you don't want to lower the front to match, you'll have to get new non-sagged leaf springs or lift up the rear with an addaleaf or shackles.

Just a thought: Does yours have the air suspension in the rear? If it does there might be something wrong with it. But my guess is that your leaf springs have just sagged.
