Swap 4410 transfer case for a A4WD w/ shiftster?

Can this be done? Also, what case and other parts would I need? Is there any other real difference between the AWD and 4x4 trucks?

4x4 explorers are computer/electronic controlled. 02-03 have a 4x4 Control Module, 04 and up have it built into the computer.

AWD explorers have no computers involved, just simple mechanics, a viscous coupling in the transfer case and when its slips, the fluid causes all wheels to have power.
