I'd like to swap my 4410 awd transfer case out for a 4411 a4wd case. Has anyone out there already done this, and if so, what was needed as far as wiring goes?

I am interested in this too. I guess if no one replies I will keep searching...

you would have a better chance of going the other way.
Havent' heard of anyone with a 3rd gen sorry. You might have some luck in looking at 2nd Gens. 4404's and 4405's.

4410 is all mechanical, no wiring at all, although you get lucky and was installed at factory, but you would have to check for unused connectors. You would need a donor too to compare harnesses.

Off hand over and above the xfr case; Module behind the dash; you'd have to check on the wiring, but you might need it; dash Switch, relays, fuse etc. After its all said and done you might still have to Re-Program the Powertrain module, or grab a used one, either way it might require a trip to the dealer to reprogram, of course they might say WTF, can't do, no way, after which there aren't many options. I doubt you would get lucky and it would plug and play as there may be to many things to change or add.

wem390, look in the Modified 02-05 section, I just completed a swap and posted a write up.
