Sway Bar Bushing Size

Spent better part of an hour searching here for answer to this question, with no luck.

So: for a stock '04 Explorer XLT 4.0 Sway bar bushing replacement --

anyone know if I need 29-30mm (part #K80080) or 31-32mm (K80081)?

anyone know the reason for the different spec, anyway?

you have to measure your sway bar.

Thanks. Yep. Don't have a micrometer. Hard measure accurately without but maybe not so critical if too large at 1-3 mm.

If the new bushing is too large, even by a few milimeters it may cause a clunking noise when going over bumps.
