Sway bar disconnect??

I have been looking for a sway bar disconnect setup for awhile. Does anyone make one? or is there already DIY? I saw one for a 95-01 but wut about us?AND YES... im asking for offroad use purposes only.... no on road ****

I bet the sell the disconnects that can replace the solid links we have. Disconnecting the swaybars on a 3rd/4th gen would help a lot in travel off-road!

That's just a picture I found off the internet. More likely it's a Jeep setup, but the same idea will still apply for our Explorer's because swaybars are very similar between most vehicles.

So basically the picture is to give someone an idea on how to make their own disconnect. If I was into the off-road scene, I would have made some by now.

Brandon at BTF should be able to fab something up fairly easy and inexpensive.
 






I dont know what the differences are between 1st, 2nd and 3rd gen sway bars, but I'm running a JKS quick disconnect on my explorer. I have a first gen though. I know I could have made them, but I had the money at the time. They were made for a JK. I think there are end links out there that could be made to fit a third Gen with a little modding.
