Can anyone refer me to a 'how to' video for replacing sway bar links for a 2000 explorer. Should both sides be replaced at same time or can one side only be replaced.
do both sides. they don't cost much and they're about the easiest suspension part there is to change. just look at it, you shouldn't need any more instruction than that.
They are extremely easy to replace, do both sides at the same time.
Only "trick" I can recommend: sometimes its difficult to get the bolt threaded through all of the bushings when the bushings are new and uncompressed. You can leave out one bushing, thread the bolt through, compress the bushings with the nut and bolt just a bit. Then remove the nut and add the last bushing.
