This may be a stupid question, so apologies in advance if so.
I have a chance to buy some used EE sway bars that will fit my truck. They are off a vehicle that was in an accident (rollover).
My question is - is it possible for sway bars to become damaged in an accident like this and if so, how would you check?
thanks

They're most likely fine. You'd want to check them for any cracks or gouges, and put them next to your stock bar to see if they're still the right shape.

They're probably fine, I believe EE sway bars are solid compared to the stock ones which are made out of tubing. Just make sure you go over it.

The problem with a bent sway bar is odds are you will not notice till you try to bolt them up. Believe me I have experianced that many, many times.
However, unless the rollover is a result of an impact to any of the wheels I am quite sure you will be fine.

Make sure the frame mounts are symmetrical and not deformed in anyway. The front mounts are often deformed if the vehicle has suffered a frontal impact. A rollover should be fine.
