98 sway bar question

I tried searching but did not come up with an answer I was looking for, maybe I phrased it wrong in the search. Will a 98 front sway bar fit into the 97? I read that the front sway bars are solid compared to the hollow 97 front sway bars.

no they wont. 98's are mounted just under the rad support and go to the control arms. 97's are mounted just ahead of the motor cross member if i remember correctly

that is correct,, the mounting location is different
