Sway Bars taken off

Just remove the lower bolts, and replace them with 1/2" hitch pins available from any hardware or farm-type store.

When you want to disconnect, pull the pins, swing up the links, and bungee them to the frame.

VERY simple.

Out back, just ditch the rear bar all together. Isn't needed with the leaf springs.

Isn't needed huh? So....what's it do?
I guess I should do that once I...start wheeling again! I start school in a few weeks and don't wanna risk breaking something.

You won't break anything by removing the rear bar. It may make the truck feel a little different, little more body roll, but I didn't notice any real difference with the rear off of mine.

Yea alot of vehicles(although alot lighter) came from the factory without a rear swaybar.

So, obviously, just remember their off and don't take corners like usual? I'm surprised at how well these trucks corner!
