I’m familiar with SiriusXM Travel Link / Alert using Sync 3 on my 2020 Explorer.
However, on the new 2025 Explorer with Sync 4, the look and operation for the Navigation and Travel Link are quite different. I do have an active subscription for SiriusXM Travel Link / Alert on the 2025.
I’ve not been able to find a comprehensive “how to” document or video on operations for the 2025 Sync 4 SiriusXM Travel Link / Alert. There are a few guides (documents and videos) for the Navigation, Audio, etc for the user interface. But nothing specific for the SiriusXM Travel Link / Alert functions.
It appears that some of the functions from the SiriusXM Travel Link / Alert are available from Google based Navigation system; Gas, Food, POIs, etc. Which makes me wonder if the SiriusXM Travel Link / Alert subscription is even needed.
If anyone has any insight on the new Sync 4 w/ SiriusXM Travel Link / Alert, I’d appreciate it.
