synthetic oil and temperature

I recently made the switch to synthetic motor oil. I'm using Mobil1 5W-30, hoping to get some improved MPGs. Don't know about that yet, but one thing I did notice for sure: My temp gauge used to float up and down from N to R all the time, especially on the highway. Now the temp is steady between N and O all the time. Not sure what that means exactly, but I like it! It also seems to be quieter at idle speed as well.

Mine seems to idle better and run smoother too.

My mileage definately increased with Mobil 1 ( 10w 30 ).

Consider changing all fluids to Mobil 1.
