system for 2000 sport

hey--- i have a stock system in my truck right now im looking to replace..i like the sound of the kenwood excelon and 10 '' amplified thunderform but what would anybody recommend for f/r spkrs or a nice system to go with ? im looking to spend a grand or under-thanks

under a grand. there's a lot you cold do with that.
the best setup for that price range would be Focal components up front. power them with a decent amp. and get some kenwood excelon 6X8's for the rear.
that will under $1000 and sound amazing.

thanks..i was thinking of going w/the excelons too... i ended up doing the best kenwood kcd w/polk 5 1/4's and 6x8's and 10'' amplified thunderform....we'll see how it sounds
