Need some help/advice, I just got finished tearing apart the electric motor that activates hi/low range all the contacts looked fine, cleaned and reassembled and still only have 4 HI. What should be my next step? Heard something about a relay box in the tail, Where exactly is it and how do I test it? I thank you and my clutch thanks you.... 93 BADSPORT

The "relay box" is the brain for the speed sensor on the t-case. It is in the left rear quarter panel. You should be able to see it once the access panel (where the jack is)is removed. I don't believe this is your problem. My Ranger did the same thing and the motor was the culprit. Dead Link Removed is the website that may help you the most. Good luck.

Should be obvious from the modifications to your truck that you know about being stopped and in neutral for 4L to engage...

Is it possible that your tcase motor wasn't at the end of its travel when reinstalled, so the motor can't move the cam enough (270 degrees from 2H to 4L) to shift the tcase to 4L?
