i counted 25 for the input..
i left most of my tools at my friend's house so i cant remove the output flange to count the output spline.. but hopefully some1 else will know.

pardon the lint in the input shaft.. its been sitting beside my bed for a few months now

awesome... I am talking to a driveshaft shop about making a shaft to run a second 1354 behind my t-case. He said that shouldnt be a problem to do. I also got a guy who will make me a hi-clearacen t-case skid and x-member that will cover both the front and rear t-case. I'm still tossing this idea around in my head though.

thats great! thats how ppl do a cheap "underdrive".. do take pics once u get things rolling - the concept sounds fantastic and i'm sure itll be terrific once implemented.

btw, r u going to 'chop' the first transfer case (remove the front output completely and chop off the un-needed casing) ? if u do, then ur definitely going to have to do a wrteup on that and take some beautiful pics!!!!

I don tknow if im going to do it or not yet... THe main benefit im looking at is that i could run 4.10 gears after my SAS to pull some 37" tires on the road. Then when i want to go offroad I just drop the first case in low range to give me close to 8:1 equivilent axle ratio. that still leaves low range as an option on the second t-case and that would put it over 16:1 add ont eh reduction of the tranny and you got a decent crawl ratio.

Only 16:1 as final reduction? :p  Let us know what happens with this. It sounds like a cool idea.

the output on a BW1350 and 1354 is 26 spline. The input is 25 like mentioned above. I will hopefully have my crawler box built in a few weeks and maybe in the truck in a month or two if I can ever get time off from work. there was also a good thread on pirates a few days ago started by b2crawler or something like that with a bunch of info on building a doubler.

make sure we get pics! i'll personally hold ur pets hostage until we get some pics up! and if u dont have pets, well ill umm take ur favorite pair of underwear! yeah i said it.
