I picked up a good set of used tail light guards off Ebay. They are in great shape, but didn't come with any mounting instructions or hardware. I figured I need to drill 4 holes each & screw the guards into place. However I have no reference as to which guard is left & right, or exactly where to align the bracket to drill the holes(center, in & out, etc)
Can anyone that has a set please let me know how they install?

Thanks

Well never mind, I sort of figured it out. It may be wrong though. They seem way too springy. Like they will flap in the wind on the HW or bumps. :dunno:

nope, thats about right. Tail lights guards are more cosmetic IMO, caus ive seens quite a few ripped of by trees, even a few that got smashed tail lights anyways.

Mine has a little clip on peice with 3m sticky foam to connect from the guard to the taillight lens, just to keep it steady in wind I guess. You may need this peice, I dunno.

I had them installed wrong, (wrong sides) I fixed them. A lot more secure now.

Thanks

If you want to post it. I got a pic from the seller of them & I followed that.

oh alright then you should be ok.
