Does it a few times a week while I'm driving and really pisses me off!.. Anyone else have this happen?

When mine was randomly opening it was caused by me. I wouldn't notice it until I was in the truck ready to go and it confused the heck out of me. When I would use the keypad to unlock the truck I sometimes would accidentally hit the 5/6 button instead of the 3/4 button to unlock all the doors. The 5/6 after your code pops the glass. Don't know if this is what is happening to you but I just though I would throw it out there.

How are the batteries in the key fob?

Check your wiring at the door and the hatch .. maybe a rubbed through wire. I only know of one other ford that this has happened too. Hope this helps.

best guess is the wires in the hatch where they come into the door are messed up and shorting out.

Don't have a key fob either, lol.. Open it the old fashion way, with the key in the door.

A key in the door ay? Have you got one of those cassette player's as well? :D Nah, but if you've experienced any other paranormal activity it might be worth ringing up one of those TV shows. Hope this help's:D:D
