hey, just ordered my taillight covers and the install is with velcro!! Isn't it a little easy for people to walk up and take them off?! Isn't there another way to install them for more security?

I used to have one on another vehicle and what I did was I revited them in place. Then I used black silicone gasket around the edges so that water and dirt would not get in there. Just be warned- you can't take them off again without breaking the lens.

Do not use the Velcro. They show thru the lens when lit.

umm, ok. i kinda understood what u said, and i dont want to break my lenses. thx for the info. any other suggestions??

what type of covers are these? the black ones or something?

yeah the smoked taillight covers by wade.

There's no other way of attaching them that isn't permenant. If you attach the velcro properly, it will work. Back in the day when I had tail light covers, I did lose one of them on a windy day on the highway.

my problem is not losing them on the highway but rather having them stolen by some jealous jerk.

Well I don't know what to tell ya......
