Hey guys, just taking off the T case from my 99 Explorer... got all teh bolts off/loose, except for the one I am having trouble with is the one that bolts to the tranny, its on the top-passenger side, not a lot of room in there, how did anyone else have success with this bolt, once thats out, I am assuming I just take a flathead or something and just pry it loose (yes I have the t case jacked up so it wont crush my face...haha.)

You can go thru the access panel thats under your center console.. You'll have to remove the console to get access to it.

okay cool, is it just a couple of bolt holding down the panel?

Okay I got everything unbolted.

But jebus I cannot pry it loose from the tranny. Any tips, that thing is stuck on there good. I tried hammering in a flathead, I cant even do that! ideas?

Dont try to pry it, you will damage the mating surface. If you have a tall jack, try pushing up on the rear output flange (where the rear driveshaft bolts to) maybe half an inch or so. Dont put a jack directly onto the transfer case's body (other than to support its own weight) as it is usually just cast aluminum/magnesium and could crack.
