got any finished pictures?

Dave,

Reguarding bending the that bracket. One of the tests I tried, was jacking the truck up until the shocks were topped out or full extention of the rear suspension to make sure the brake line wasn't getting stretched. So I ended up bending the bracket down enough so the brake hose still had a little bit of flex in it. I also made sure that the bracket wouldn't hit anything with the suspension under full compression.
Just my $.02 to save your self some additional labor and parts.

Heath, leave the tech stuff up to people who know what they are talking about. Or else I'm going to have to run over and crush your truck with MINE! LOLOLOLOLOLOL.

Day 5 pics

Almost finished, just got fine tuning to do. The Extended front sway bar links that come with this kit are crap in my oppinion. So I am going to try to find some longer ones like the energy susp. ones to put in there soon.

Stuff to do:
Rear - extend brake hose or bend bracket.
- insert shims for pinion angle. I will get a pic of what my angle looks like, but I am getting some serious binding in reverse.

Front - sway bar links

All around - re-torque some bolts, paint some stuff and check all my hoses and lines, remove BL.

I know they aren't that great and I am still missing my bumper, but I will get some better when it is done. I still need to get some shots of actual components too.

 definatly need some shims..... i say keep the body lift on... it looks great at the height..... for real.

Don't know how much on the shims gonna take it to a driveline shop and ask what they think (if I can)

The BL looks good in the pics, but in person it realy looks awkward, especially with 33"s. I am still gonna end up with about 2 inches more than I had before this lift, I think that will make me happy.

yeah i wouldnt be able to tell you what angel shims you need.... 4" you can still run 33"s looks good though....

IT seems to do ok in forward, only binds bad in reverse, so I shoul be OK making it to a driveline shop. Oh the 33"s should look great they were on there before with 2" BL and about 1.5 TT and shackles so with this lift ending up around 5" - 5.5" all the way around it should be good.:D

i dunno.. if i would drive it there.... up to speed there might be to much of a bind.... definatly could cause some problems....

Yeah that is what I am thinking. I my take a pic to a driveline place and see if they can guess. The other option is I have some shims I could put in there then go to the driveline place and see if it is right?

if you have shims you could put in there try it... see if you can get some of the bind off.... dont try driving to far till you get it looked at.... as long as it is semi level on the same grade youll be fine.

I just worry about having the right angle for vibrations.

just as long as its not on a bind like it is you wont get vibrations... it doesnt have to be perfectly straight in line.... if you can get it around the same angel youll be fine....

The same angle as what is coming out of the t-case? Or what angle? With this much lift and angle would I be better off with a CV style drive shaft?
