TCASE/TRANNY Fluid Drain Help?

Can someone advise me how to properly drain the tranny and transfer case? .. Honestly, I know how to do the tranny, but I think someone ####ed up my transfer case. It smells like a mix of mercon and gear oil, and since it was checked, my 4wd is acting funky.

However, I can't find a drain plug for the tcase. only a check/fill.

See location in pic above, but it's probably hidden by a big round damper, held on with four bolts.
