Teaser for my Custom (soon to be) Modified ARB Steel Front Bumper !!!

Nothing, I got these bailer wire racks from work, I cut them to size, angle and shape. The bigger ones are 1 5/8" thick and the smaller ones are 1 2/5" thick.

Like I said I use what I can get cheap or free. LOL.

Man this thing is only getting better! I hate that I still have that stupid plastic thing ford calls a skid plate. Wish I had metalworking skills.

Dang, wish i could get a few of those for free, they would work perfect for the roof basket i want to build, i want it to be the dimensions of the roof, not just the factory roof rack

This boulder was flat on the side I climbed up and was 30" tall. I would never have been able to do this before. The factory bumper clearence was only 13"'s high, the new steel bumper has a clearence of 32"'s.

This hill is alot steeper then it looks, the truck was standing on it's tow hitch, just look at the space below the truck...

With a bumper like I have this is what you'll see in your rearview mirror so don't even think about brake checking me. LOL

With all that new angle ability you're going to have to raise your blue bal..... uh, accessory!!:D

Nice job on that bumper, man!

Nice, those were taken off last year. Geuss works been keeping you busy too, haven't seen you on either site much lately.

Overloaded man. I jump on when I can. Wife's had a lot of health problems that has put everything on my back. I jump on when I can.

I'm just raggin' ya about your ornament as I always have!:D:D

Hopefully your wife gets better soon, prayers go out for her and you.

Very nice rebel. I like the tube skid plate

It's not done yet, I just haven't had time to finish it.

Still looks badass. I seriously need some underbody protection on my x

I noticed you don't appear to be a mod anymore. So we are unrestrained in this corner of the forum now?

Rebel, what did you use to cut the plastic bumper fascia? Did you have to reenforce some at the bottom so it doesn't flap in the wind?

I used a 4 1/2" grinder with a cutting wheel. Where I cut it is about an inch below the grille opening. It's secured on by the clips at the grille/headlight header panel and the bumper/ fender clips.

For those members looking for ideas to build a skid plate that actually works and works very good.

I love to see a photo of those clips and how you attached. Gonna be joining you with the steel bumper here real soon.

The clips are the slide in clips that are a part of the bumper cover that slide into the headlight header panel and the fender clips are just the pieces of steel tabs and the nuts and bolts from when I did my bodylift. The factory speed nuts and screws were rusted and broke.
