Hi all.

My temp gauge is stuck below the "C" and never moves. The truck is running fine so I figure perhaps the sensor is either disconnected or caput. Anybody know where it is so I can check the wire, etc?

Thanks in advance.:chug:

it may be your thermostat i would try that if you have never had it replaced

It's probably not going to be the thermostat. If the truck were overheating, then it might be the thermostat. I think you're right to check for the temp sensor. I don't know where it is exactly, but look for a sensor that's right where the upper radiator hose connects to the intake. Should be right there. Good luck.

well he lives in vancuver i would think if it is stuck open it may cause this

The truck has been running well with no sign of overheating all summer. The weather here in Vancouver is quite mild but we do have occasional very hot (40 C) and cold (-5 C) temps. neither of these extremes has affected my truck which is why I think it's the sensor versus the thermostat.

I suppose it could be the gauge itself but this is unlikely.
