Hey, I just replaced my temp. sending unit with one I bought at O'Reilly Auto parts. The wire will not plug onto the top anymore, it doesn't get enough friction. The part is a Borg Wagner WT386. Does anyone know if they gave me the right part? What the heck is going on?!?
If you're talking about the wire that just "snaps" onto the top of the sending unit you may be able to take a pair of pliers and very gently squeeze the end closer together. It won't take much.
