Within the past couple of days, the digital temparature display (for the outside temperature) on the overhead console has been 10-15 degrees off from wht the actual outside temperature is? Any thoughts as to what might have caused this and how to correct it?

Thanks

I had a similar problem with mine. Seems to be working now, but I am going to replace the sensor next time I get to the wrecking yard. The sensor is mounted just to the inside of the left hand headlight near the frame on the rad support. Kind of tough to get at, but you'll see it from the top or bottom of the truck.

Does it return to a normal reading while at speed?

It could simply be a heat soak situation with the very hot weather.
