Temperature Sensor.....Where is it ???

I have looked and looked for the sensor that goes to the compass/Temperature indicator that is overhead on my 94 Limited. The compass is correct but the temp is all over the place all the time...I read somewhere there was sensor under the hood but I cannot find it ...any ideas ??

I'm pretty sure it's in front of the radiator/tranny cooler/AC thing
