Hey y’all. I just finished up installing the PA 853 BL on my 97 xlt (thanks for all the threads, they were a big help). Everything seems to be going good, just the shift column requires more force to shift between park, reverse, drive, etc. I was wondering if that was anyone else’s experience too? I disconnected the shifter from the trans before I did the lift. I hope I’m not damaging anything. Just to clarify, I wanna know if this extra tension is normal after installing a body lift.
