testing fuel injectors?

is there a way to test fuel injectors to see if they are bad? i kinda wanna know before i replace one, as it my be the reason one cylinder isn't firing

If you have a stethoscope you can listen at each injector for the 'clicking' sound..... else a long screwdriver and feel for the clicking sound.
