Hello! My wife and I are proud new owners of a 2000 Ford Explorer XLT. We love it! It's mainly my wife's daily driver. Neither of us are mechanical at all so I'm sure we will have lots of questions. Mechanically, The Beast (Malissa's pet name for the Explorer) is sound other than a small exhaust leak. We would like to get this fixed but we don't know if this is a DIY job or a shop's job. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum! Do you know where the exhaust leak is? Manifold, flange, pipe, or the muffler itself?
