I just replaced my front drivers side hub assembly this weekend. I scoured this forum trying to anticipate everything that I would be doing/seeing. The "sticky" at the top is a well documented example. My hub went on without a problem...I also did the seafoam trick and I think my explorer is running better...at idle it used to bump around the 500rpm mark but now it sits there smoothly....The other thing that I finally got around to doing was replacing the oil in the transfer case...first time for that...oops...it was dark like motor oil....wish I would've found this forum sooner...it is the best!
thanks!!
