The 4.0 Swap was chump change compared to this - Look inside...

This has got me worried!
Could be a leak of epic proportions causing an ecological disaster.

Probably calling HAZMAT right now. Hope the fine is not too bad.

lol haven't made it out to the garage yet, thought I would get out there faster, it already leaked once, im really hoping it works this time.

the case doesn't leak, the drain plug does, so I put a bigger oring on it and siliconed it. ill let it dry overnight and try to put the case in tomorrow.

Did you have your fingers crossed when you told that story?

damnit how did you know!? yeah the case still isn't leaking at all, and its had a few hrs to seep through if it was going to. I hope the plug doesn't leak but time will tell, have to wait till tomorrow afternoon and see what it does.

Jon he knows because I told him how to log into the spy cams that I have around your house so he can watch what you're doing too...

Well the cat's out of the bag now. But was a little worried when he started wresting the snake when checking out my build thread on his computer.
It was one of the flexing scenes. I know he likes the truck, but that was a little over the top. Oh, BTW, did that happen from some bicycle accident?

lol you guys, I was looking at your truck but thinking of heaths wife haha. it was a reaction to nuclear fission, thats why its so long. And yeah heath im sure you would love to see pics of that.

I'm always up to see something odd and disfigured..

oddly huge!

haha this convo is super gay. ok so im about to head out and see it the silicone is set up around the drain plug I put in, if so ill going to put this sucker in the rig. pretty excited to see how slow it can actually go.

Jesus man, quit talking about my junk!

Drain plug holds fine so this ***** is going in the rig, ill put it in double low without shifters and put the shifters in later, rear driveshaft and the testing begins

ok got the doubler in and test drove it, its slow but not quite slow enough for me, looks like the diffs need 5.13 gears. here is a pic of it outside finally,

unfortunately the drain plug is leaking pretty bad and the doubler case wont shift out of low. so out they come once again, ill pull the front of the doubler case off and see what I screwed up in the assembly. im guessing I probably put the case together with it in low again, happily it doesn't have a back half to break out, it just pushes the doubler shaft further into engagement with the back case. so I didn't totally hose myself.

You probably tried this but did you shut it off, put tranny in nutral and try shifting out of low with no load whats so ever on the shifting forks?
Sounds to me that there was some thrust on the gears.

BTW truck really looks great.
