I just installed my Class III Curt hitch and it is low enough I have to watch that I don't drag it in the driveway.SOooooooo........I found this link, left info.,and they are going to make the springs to my spec for 268 bucks.
Here's a link I hope will work?

I'll post back when I get them installed on my extended 94 2 wheel drive,4.0 van. They are supposed to be 800 lbs. stronger than original. My rear springs are pretty weak right now at only 90,000 miles. don-ohio (:^) :aerostar:

800 lbs as in 400 per spring?

Yes,that's plenty of extra capacity.....don't want to ruin the wheel bearings. They are saying 25% stiffer ride. don-ohio (:^)

I tried that,Brooklyn.

I was very dissatisfied with air shocks on my old Eddie.:( Been there, didn't like them. They cost a pretty penny too.Had to add air when they got older sometimes once a week.
I figure for a lasting fix with a minimum of trouble, stronger springs are best for me. I'll also replace the shocks with a pair of spring coil load levelers by Gabriel. That oughta be the icing on the cake. I have these on my F-250 even though heavy duty suspension.
My old Eddie Bauer had just the above mentioned shocks but I believe the Eddie had WAY stronger springs.Either that or Myers Ford hauled a bunch of stuff in my van and weakened the springs.
My rear shocks are toast also.So I'm gonna do it up right, since this van may be hauling things several times back and forth to Florida for me in the coming months or years. But thanks for that suggestion,Brooklyn.....you're always here to help....I know and appreciate it.:) don-ohio :aerostar:

Some people put coil helpers under the springs or air bags in the old springs to squeeze a little more life out of them. Look for cargo coils. They don't sag when you load the van up with a lot of weight.

I might have to do what you say if the custom springs don't do the job, along with the load levelers. But I'm hoping to make a medium duty hauler out of it for 400 bucks total. We'll see. Thanks for the suggestions,Brooklyn! don-ohio (:^)

Amazon has cargo coils for under $60 the last time I checked. I don't know what the current price is but it's less than $268 for custom coils.

Whatever my old Eddie had on it were awesome. Maybe they were cargo coils,I dunno. The cargo coils might be plenty strong, but are they gonna raise my van like these custom ones?
I plan on running this van `til at least 200K,it's in such great shape(still only 91K on it).Didn't see any rust under it when I put on the new hitch.
I appreciate the info.,but I do need to know I'm raising the van some. don-ohio (:^) :aerostar:
