Cool pics...The H2 is too big for me...and I would be scared to wheel hard in that much $$$$$$$

I know pics don't often do runs justice, but that didn't look that bad

I definately second that one:rolleyes:

That narrow spot (one of the pictures) looks pretty tight for a wide vehicle such as an H2. I guess he made it without rubbing though! ?? He said, "almost popped a bead", I thought, "almost left a love mark down the side of the sheet metal". Pretty cool pics though, GM should indeed use those for their marketing.

GM should use those for their advertizing

¿Why? So they can get sewed for false advertizing caiming the H2 has off road capabilities. I look at one of those stupid things everyday as I pass the reserved parking lot on campus. Big, Huge, low to the ground (I think my EX with just TT Shackles and 32's has more ground clearance) REALLY REALY WIDE AND HEAVY. even if you put a V12 in the thing, I don't think it would have enough towing power to pull a hat off your head. And by the way did I mention they are really huge, and really low to the ground and just look high up off the ground?
Kewl pics though

^^^ LoL ^^^

You are funny  The H2 is a very capable vehicle... My neighbor beats the hell outa his, and once my X is built I would be happy to go wheel with him.

Not trying to be funny

Not even really trying to be hateful. Just thoroughly UN-impressed with the H2. Humvees that's another story.

Haha...Premier is right. H2 is a lot more capable than our Explorers totally stock. Like I said at my first post, GM actually demonstrated to the journalists that the H2's are just as good as the H1's so they're not kidding about this but people just tend to use this H2 as a statement of their status so that's probably why we don't like them as much.

I dont think they are as good as the H1 at all, but they are no doubt capable as hell, possibly the most capable stock SUV.

Nic, Have you ever driven an H2 on or off the road? If not, how can you possibly comment as to its power or torque characteristics?

I actually like H2's and think that just because a select few like to put bigger rims on their rigs than my tires, theyve gotten a bad rep.

but i also found this video extrmely entertaining:

http://files.funfreepages.com/videos/KilledIT.wmv

(I tried putting it in as a hyperlink, but it wasnt working for some reason, just paste it into windows media player or something)

and i think it may be the same H2 as in the link at the top of the page

Thats the same one... Thats the one I found abandoned on Bill Moore Lake Trail here in CO... He was blocking an obsticle that I was trying to do...

I like pics of any truck breaking!

As big as those trucks are they don't seem to have much ground clearance.

those pictures made that trail look super easy. 1/2 of the pics were road shots. i could do those runs based on those pictures. those pictures did no justice to change my oppion on there off-road ability.

I have and Nic is right. They are totally underpowered. It's amazing that they don't have the Duramax or the 492CI big block available for that behemouth. The guy I go to SEMA with every year has an H2 and he admits it's a dog. He can't wait until he can get a supercharger on it. Just $5000 for the "good" one.

In stock configuration he gets 9.8 MPG city and 12.5 hwy. Gotta love it. No power to tow, no power to pass and gas mileage as poor as my old '74 F250 Supercab with a 360:eek:

I was hoping someone else would say that so I wouldn't have to :D

I noticed that they had no photos at all of the narrow section of Kane Creek Canyon. I would be surprised if they ran the entire trail given the width of their rigs and the lack of width of many portions of the trail :D
