LOL road i feel you all the way about waiting for that day. One question what amp are you running that w7 with? I'm trying to gauge what my 18" Stroker 1600rms with RF 1500.1 (1771 rms) amp will do. My day will be in about 2 weeks Also i would like to add that even you adults can be disrespectful to us 17/18 yr. olds. I mean come on just cause he spent $1900 on his system doesnt mean his daddy bought it for him. Are you going to tell me that my $4000 dollars ive spent on my system is coming from my parents? Please think before you claim some **** like that cause we dont appreciate it when we work our ***** off to get what we get. Ive paid for everything on my Explorer nothing free here!@@!!!

hey guys. i feel for ya, im 17 too. where i come from, however, most peoples parents pay for their stuff. yeah, i live in a town of (mostly) spoiled kids. no, my parents dont pay for my stuff (as far as car mods to, for that matter) and i dont think they should, so i know how you feel.

I just installed my 12W7 and 500/1 last weekend too! Holy $#!+, the thing bumps hard! I think it's louder than when I had my 2 15" Kicker Comp VR's. I have a question for ya...have you turned up any of the nobs on your amp? I have them all, all the way down. I couldn't imagine it being too much louder. After you get your pics up I will post some of mine...don't want to steal your spotlight...

i'm a little confused here, you have a w7 running a 500 watt amp, and a head unit and those are your only audio mods. if its true that you saved your own money to pay nearly 2,000 dollars for that, i want to know why? i too saved up to buy a system as a teenager in school, (dvc rf with a 500w power amp, two way 5 by 7s, four way 6 by 9s, door speakers amplified with a 480 watt four channel, tons of sound deadening, pioneer head unit) but it didn't even cross my mind to spend all of my money on a sub and sub amplifier alone. what in the world does it sound like in there? did you do any sound deadening? can you even hear lyrics? what does rock or classical sound like in there?

oh well, more power to you for doing what you wanted to do to your truck! mods are always cool, and w7s are damn cool as well. i'm not trying to attack you with this post, i'm just wondering about this set up? didn't anyone else notice this? or am i missing something? but hey, keep bumpin'

look, all I have to say is that when the damn police and old people buy me a system, they can tell me to turn it down to whatever they want, but until then, they can f-ck off! I'm from los angeles where systems bump everyday, I guarentee you that the cops out here are just as bad as they are in Colorado or wherever, bump on man.....bump on!!!

itz called a mute button d00d, anyone thats smart enough and checks their mirrors can see a cop when they're comin, truthfully I have never gotten a citation because I'm smart enough to mute it when needed, itz not my fault that a lot of people are not smart enough to do this and get citations.

If I hear someone with their system up and shaking my car, I get out and shut it down for them!

By the time some of you are 25, you will be deaf. Trust me, I'm 10% deaf in both ears (at birth) and you miss so much information at the percentage. You do not need to have your subs shaking you eardrums, they can only take so much abuse!

Also, people on this board have become quite discourteous and disrespectful. If you don't like something be quiet. And if someones says something you don't like, ignore it or send them an PM and don't bother everyone else!
