Well, the project took a turn for the worse, when the shop that always works on my truck found the engine isn't aligned. It's sitting crooked, and basically has to be pulled to be set in properly. Translation, most of the swap has to be redone. I don't have what it costs to do this, nor do I have the time to redo it myself. So here, the project comes to a halt. It looks as though John (cableguy) will be buying what is there, and come spring time, finish this off, and have one hell of a truck. As for me, it looks like I'll strip parts that I want, and some that he won't use, and keep them for the future X. As of now, it looks like I will be purchasing Dre's X, and come spring time, add my suspension, to his already kick ass truck. So it looks like my model Sport HO, has come to and end with me. Hopefully, it will live on, one day in glory, and kick ass 306 power! And hell, maybe one day, I'll still get to take it for a spin...

It's NOIEC musical chairs. I think Dre's truck is a great buy, you are gaining a winch and it is set up nice for a great price. I am looking at a lead on a 94 Grand Cherokee Limited, so I may bring the Explorer down a little and have that as my business use vehicle and play with the Grand cherokee, this way I will have a V8, strait axles and I could easily bolt in my 8.8 with 4.56's in the rear and use the same rims also.

Hum... a lil backasswards to me... Although I have to agree on the part of the V-8, that would be nice Tho I don't know that the front axle on the Jeep is overly tough....

All I need now is for someone to buy my explorer! I just decided to take the bare minimum (what I owe) for mine just to get rid of it. That way, maybe I can have the Sport HO done before the snow melts. I got some big plans for this thing pete. Can't wait to start working on it!

Don't worry, I'm not letting this one slip away. I've been looking for a 2-door for the last 2 months to build and yours is most of the way done. I should be able to come up with most of the deposit you wanted in the next week or so ( I don't get paid till 11/2) just bear with me. Going to get a second job over the winter to have enough to finish off the swap and axles. Come next summer we'll both be running pink with no problems!!!!

Pee-tah, I am gonna try to buy the grand cherokee from this dude I know who is 38 and retired for 8 years, he is loaded and he is good buddies with my boss. He really likes me because I talk school with him, and also do lil crap like winterize his boat, blah, blah, blah so it is the same year as my explorer and I will buy it if he gives it to me for peanuts (Like 3-4000)
