Hopefully this stuff will last longer than regular wax.

Thinkin about takin the bugflector off, what do you guys think? (just screws on, easy enough to put back or whatever)

Lucky you !! I don`t think I will be able to wax my Ex until at least for another 5 months!! god dam winter !!

Your Ex is very Sharp...but you know what would look better ?? try cleaning you wheel fender ( inside) it looks better ...I always do it ..it gives you a new finish look !! but beside that it is very nice looking.

Ya, I usually do, but the stuff in there is near impossible to get out. At work we have a big lot for our trucks, the gravel back there is made of crushed concrete. Had to drive through it after a minor flood... that stuff is a PIA to get off.

ok I usaly clean as much as I can and then spray ARMORALL under that and it looks sharp..I envy you... !! wtf was I born 2000 miles north of florida !!

thats a looong way.. its a bone chillin 70 or so here today! :D

you *&?%$/$(&*%&*%(% !!! :o)

Decided it was time for the bugflector to go (anyone want it?)

very nice! wish my X looked that clean! how long it take ya?

Not long actually. 3-4 (counting the 20 minutes for a second coat of LG the next day) hours or so maybe? I didnt get the inside cleaned out good yet (just vacumed it out, gonna get the carpets/seats steam cleaned). Got a little sticky buildup from havin the inside armoralled at the quick wash place..... Didnt know it would do that, no more of that crap.

Used:
Palmolive dish soap to wash (get rid of any polish from quick wash)
Liquid Glass (body and rims)
Meguiars Tire Gel
Stoner Invisible Glass
Simple Green Automotive (good stuff there)

Looks much better with out the bug deflector man!!!!!!!
:)

I use liquid glass too and I've found that it's hands down the best! But I haven't used Zaino or Klasse. The stuff will last forever I'm telling you. Also, looks much better without the bug deflector.

i have used all types of wax but i can;t seem to find one that lasts. AFter like 3 car washes, or a month of sitting outside in the weather it seems to not bead up when it gets wet anymore...I give up..
i will say i like liquid glass over the paste type waxes...but it seems I still can;t go for more then a month without needing to re-wax it all over again...

How many layers of Liquid Glass did you use? So far I've got two coats and plan to get a few more. My friend that suggested it said his still beads after 6months. His does get a garage at night, but it takes a beating all day in the sun being black.

Also it says each coat needs to cure for 4 hours if in the sun. I would assume longer otherwise.

hmm..normally I wax it all, then buff it all, then wax it all, then buff it all. My new truck I have only had the chance to wax it once so far, it is way too dirty up here to even think about it now...during school I unfortunatly don;t have much time to clean it and don;t have the money..so needless to say it has not seen a carwash in about a month

I love liquid glass, the only thing that i dont like is that you have to wait so long between coats. The best stuff that i have found so far is Proffesional Series Meguiars Show Car Glaze. That stuff is simply awesome then go over it with a coat of Proffesional Series Yellow Wax (#26). You will not believe how awesome it looks.

I know..the camera I used sucks...but you can still sorta tell how it was shining. This was this past summer, using the Meguiers stuff Ga was talking about. I was very happy with the results.

I thought I would try this stuff for $20 before buying $100 worth of zaino. My buddy is gonna lend me his Zaino stuff to try.

As for Meguiars, I have a whole box full of their stuff and it looks great with it, but it doesnt hold up long enough for me here in FL when its outside 24/7.
