Nah not really, but when the truck is in neutral, there is a rattling sound coming from, what appears to be, near the transmission. If I put it in gear it stops. Any ideas as to what this could be??

Also, to prevent multiple threads ill throw this in here. For some reason unbeknownst to me, the blower motor decides it doesnt want to work. Then suddenly about 5 minls later it works. This has happened twice now. Any ideas on this??

And last but not least, my pregnant girlfriend seems to have an attitude all the time. Any suggestion on this one?? :D

Lots of beer maybe? (for you, not her)

check your skidplates, mine did this, i crawled under the truck and the tcase skid was against the tcase......

check the grounds and other wires on the motor

the gf is going to be mean for awhile, its your fualt... live with it... drink beer.....

For the blower check for bad connection at the blower resistor, motor connector, and switch.

Check for rocks rattling or the cat converters.

Since your girlfriend is pregnant I'd HIGHLY recommend spending time in the shop. Do every mod possible. Stereo, DVD, GPS, engine swap, lift, buy everything!

Well thanks for all the help. Looks like im going to be spending a LOT of quality time OUTSIDE. :D

Heat shield?

i'd check the exhaust for the rattling....

as for the blower motor, next time it stops working on you tap on it. it if starts again i'd just replace it. mine was giving me the same symptoms a while back. i'd actually kick the underside of the dash [passenger side] to get it to blow again. it was well worth the 30 or so minutes it took to put the new one in...

Cool deal. Also the fact that the heater core was replaced recently for leaking, and blowing coolant into the cabin, makes me suspect the motor may be all gumped up. Ill look into replacing it.

Remember that a pregnant woman's hormones are going crazy at this time and she will have mood swings. Just be loving and supportive and give her space if she needs it

My explorer had lose welds on two of the Heat shields on the exhaust. I just ripped them off as the other welds holding them on were loose to. price=free
I suppose I could have paid someone some money to weld them back on but I really didn't see the point of these two dinky shields.
