Could please tell me if the stat is hard to change on that engine...time ? approx. is it easy acces ?

Follow the upper rad hose to where it enters the engine, you'll find the thermostat in the housing at the end. They are very easy to change, my dog changed my last one in about 10 minutes.

They are very easy to change. A word of warning, DO NOT get a Motorcraft stat, they are junk! I went through 3 of them under warranty, switched to a NAPA one and all is well for 2 years and counting.

do the bolts thread into aluminium (scared of stripping the block/head wherever it is{haven't looked yet}) and on a 94' it looks pretty cramped...??
