I started leaking coolant the other day and realized it caming from the housing. My question is how much do you think it would be for parts and just to do it myself? Any helps would be awesome.

Check this site out... http://bengrosser.com/howto/fordthermostat/ it's for the older version of our engine, but its close

I did mine about 3 weeks ago, I only changed the lower housing with both gaskets, thermostat and sensor..... your leak may be different. I bought the parts off of rock auto...fairly inexpensive about $60 all together and an easy installation

If you go with Ford parts it'll be somewhere around $150.00 but Tousley Ford offers discounts to members so shouldn't be too bad of price. It's also easy to swap.

The one for a 3rd gen is less expensive, mine was ~$49 at a local Ford dealership I did change only the lower side as Shane, and it takes like 15 min
