Hi, so I got my 2013 Explorer last Christmas and it has been smooth sailing but all of a sudden things keep going wrong. It all started with the center consul screen showing "system off to save battery." Then the seat stopped automatically going back when I start the car. The newest thing that happened was that the car doesn't honk when I press lock on the key fob two times, it is now making a clunking noise.

I'm not sure what to do next. Has this happened to someone?

Edit. Solved post 6

Sounds like your battery is on the way out and the vehicle is limiting what it can do with the reduced capacity.

Agreed. Start with a new battery. If you're still on the one from the factory, you're well overdue for a new one.

Thank you! I will definitely get a new battery and see if that does the trick!

Welcome to the Forum.
I agree with what the others posted. That battery saver warning is usually the first sign that the battery needs attention.
