Hi all .I am thinking of adding a pusher fan to my x. this thing runs great at 197,359 miles. I have replaced the trany three times two under a rebuild warranty and then two years later a good rebuild as the fist only replaced the soft parts gggrrrrr.
Any hoot it is now running some what hot at ideal or stop and go traffic.
I have replaced the radiator, water pump, fan clutch, belt, and hoses. Some years back I had replaced the fan (it had cracked and broke a blade off) with a junk yard one before I knew much a bout the x's. I believe the one I put on it was the non air one. well now years later the heating up is getting to much so I replaced the parts above (they all needed it by the way) but it is still running hot at ideal and stop and go but get up to speed with the air temp about 100 plus and it runs with it pointing to the n or o of normal with the air running on max.. The only thing left my gray matter can come up with is to bust the slow speed air flow. Has any one done this and if so what did you use and were did you mount it .I believe the only room to mount an e fan is in a push set up. What ya all think?
