can someone please tell me if throttle body spacers are worth putting in. I was also wondering what brand of intake I should get. So far I heard that the volant kits were good. Would any of these mods void the factory warranty?

Welcome!

A couple of guys here will tell you that they saw an improvement with a throttle body spacers. Most would say, and I will agree, that they are a waste of money.

For intakes, most here go with KKM, K&N, or MAC. The KKM would be a favorite around here. I have heard good things about Volants also, but I am not sure they make one for Xs.

I know nothing about Warrantys (never owned an automobile with one).

warrenty info can be found out through the ford dealer. I know that for mazda they only warrenty ingen an AEM but i dont know about ford.

thanks for the info.

i dont know much about TB spacers, i have heard Spacers work well for carburated engines due to the lack of fuel atomization by carbs. but fuel njected engines atomize fuel really efficently, unless the injectors are clogged. but then you might notice performance issues.
